Gone a little quiet on incoming midfielder - just hope we are able to increase strength of squad ahead of vital games! Any news on Luke Young returning to fitness? Could he be back in a month or two? We have another upcoming game with the Welling game now rearranged for Tuesday 23 February.

Again the forecast looks daunting - another postponement perhaps ?

Early pitch inspection as Chester were looking to leave at 12.00 and do an overnighter.
Tomorrow's game is OFF.

Early pitch inspection as Chester were looking to leave at 12.00 and do an overnighter. Tomorrow's game is OFF. Unsurprisingly, a pitch suited too pub football, something we are learning how too play like, the club is slowly but surely losing all dignity it has left,a big big shame for the fans

Not at all a freak result in a game of little importance in the grand scheme of things, when it really really matters the squad goes missing

Buggar Boreham Wood.
Six points from Boreham Wood and Welling needed to keep our season alive.

Is Prynn cup tied? Seems he has banged in few goals for St Austell - worth a recall for Bognor? Wonder how Odolfin is getting on - never seem to get much about his progress. We are going to need all hands on deck over the next few weeks. Will Goldy emerge as a signing? A win on Saturday would certainly raise spirits!

Never understood why we as a club have not given the likes of Prynn and Odofin their head. Villa saw something and we can't utilise that? Is it fear of blooding youngsters or a coaching issue? Mcdonald was allowed development. We should embrace youth as our future yes? But then, i'm not there at training each week I suppose.

Off we go on the next section of this season's TUFC roller coaster ride! Must have solid performance today with nothing less than a win. Hope the pies are good!

Great result (and performance) yesterday. If we can deliver again on Tuesday, the roller coaster is on the up. Various weather forecasts also appear to predict less wet conditions over the next couple of weeks. Firmer pitches should enhance our performances. No doubt we will also have to rely on other teams having a miserable run-in. Let's hope this is the case!

Just jumping ahead to next Saturdays quarter final game at Bognor. It appears that their manager, Jamie Howell is a former Torquay player from season 1997 when he was released. He is very well respected in the lower leagues. Bognor since the New Year have played 11, won 9 drawn 2 I fear it'll not be too easy. Apparently another ex Torquay player, Paul Hinshelwood has also represented them
