Good to see Buddhism mentioned on here. Reincarnation is making bit of a comeback. We all need a bit of Zen at the moment. I am looking forward to going to Braintree which I am hoping will be the start of the road to recovery.

Transfer deadline here - no doubt we will see little or no player movement - perhaps because the squad will be SO powerful for the demanding Christmas programme (and because we are bust)!

At least the Reception Area has been transformed (unlike the Team perhaps)!

At least the Reception Area has been transformed (unlike the Team perhaps)! The boards lovingly created by Fleur Elliot for the Torbay Museum exhibition are now on display in the reception area in time for Legends Day. Do take time to look if you weren't able to visit the museum. Sponsored by Thea in memory of Paul.

With Boreham Wood drawing 1 - 1 with Lincoln last night, we are 6 points (5 plus 1 for poor goal difference) from safety with two games in hand.

Would rather have points than games in hand but we will have to put up with what we have got and where we are - still not convinced we can escape the drop but here's hoping!

Cold, scruffy game but hanging on so far. Highlight of the first half a ball getting hoofed out of the ground which is still stuck up in a tree! If nothing else, at least we have a proper football ground and decent hot chocolate! Is Prynn going to make a name for himself today?

Scratchy game really - we didn't create much but we're pretty gritty, Braintree had more possession but in turn didn't create much themselves. Thought Lavercombre played well as did Richards and Berry, Wright showed some good touched and Sheperd a couple of good runs. No really bad performances but then, no real spectacular ones - still that is a point.

Looking at the Christmas/New Year fixtures made my stomach turn! Forest Green twice and Cheltenham - we could be in dire trouble going into the New Year.
I´ve just been through the remaining fixtures and think we will end up with about 40 points at the end of the season. Where does that put us in the league table?

Tough game tonight against Cullompton - hope we st least score a goal or two - don't anticipate any trialists though so should be just a warm up for the big game on Sunday! Desperate times!
