Good article in the Guardian today about how Keiffer Moore turned his career around at Torquay.
Didn't realise he was a Torquay fan before joining the Exeter youth system.

Pants! Think I got my Keiffer Moore/Ollie Watkins wires crossed. Moore played for Paignton Villa before joining Truro. Watkins came through the Exeter youth system. Apologies.

Looking through retained lists I saw that Frank Vincent has been released by Bournemouth - I guess Walsall ? will take him if he did well.
One for Gary apart from Good Luck ! I also noticed that Charlie Austin has been released - he's probably made so much dosh he could afford to play for nothing (wink). If fit, imagine the impact he would have down here - (just trying to help GJ)
Or Glenn Murray might be tempted to NOT retire. Dreams eh ?

Austin signed for QPR last week. Those sort of signings will never happen these days. Have good memories though looking back and having the pleasure of watching Tony Brown, Bruce Rioch, Tony Currie, Neval Southall and one or two others in a gulls shirt. Never to be seen again sadll. |
