WTF we have just had our first shot on goal! One man team? not really but we are sadly lacking in the middle of the park. Rovers will stuff us next week if they play like the did second half last night and we turn up like we did today. Mansell to score a hat trick...

Fleet says the worst performance he has ever watched ... in his entire life!! Same old inconsistencies the same that saw us relegated last season and tells me Greavsy is struggling with tactics - if we are hot going forward its our only chance of getting a result whereas when our forwards are struggling as the did today we are guaranteed defeat against even the lowly teams of the division. Todays performance and in general all the performances, even the so called good ones need to be analysed because what we are doing at the moment will get us nowhere and God forbid if we get into a rut of poor displays like todays we will be struggling at the wrong end of the divsion.

Grim day. Really sounded like we never got started. This is obviously not good enough if we still hold play off ambitions. This season is proving that we are a little short of a serious promotion push. The team's performances are just too inconsistent, very good one week and abysmal the next. We need a sitting enforcer in midfield and probably a more reliable keeper but with finances as they are, such players are unlikely to arrive any time soon. Therefore a mid table finish is likely. Having said that, I can't bring myself to completely give up on the play offs just yet, maybe that's hullgull's influence!!

Wont give up either bristol/si but its patently obvious we aren't good enough in our current state. Watched the BR v Gateshead match and Gateshead should have been out of sight at half time Rovers just couldn't get near the ball as they passed them off the park but they then came out second half with a change in tactics and some real intent. I was hoping we wold do the same today at half time but sounds like it just got worse. Gateshead and BR are way ahead of us in many aspects and there are quite a few other teams that are better equipped to make a challenge.

Probably right Pete, this is a damn difficult league from which to get out with a number of teams battling for just two precious keys back to the league.

Dreaming I know but we need Olejnick or similar back on loan - he cant get in the Scunthorpe starting eleven and a proper FGR Sinclair (ran the show when they played us) type in midfield. No chance , we will have to persevere with what we have unfortunately. We all know how poor we are and have to watch the finances but what is the alternative? Results tail off completely along with supporters through the turnstiles. Its a catch 22 as per usual and at the end of the day supporters in general are not at all interested in the finances of the club they just want to see a winning team.

anybody with any footballing background have now left the club,we are run like we havent a clue, and it shows. The quick decline is frightening.Sadly if aint right off the pitch,it usually follows onto the pitch. The list of players and staff gone in a very short time is scary, and the fans are following too.Desperate times for us gulls fans

Match Report
Look over there on that cabbage patch - did you see those maingey rabbits, dazzled by the lights, get trampled all over by a Sunday League Team?
