On the plus side, we have at least won our last 2 away games. The downside is that Chesterfield are unbeaten in their last 5 league games, the only draw coming at Scunthorpe last Saturday, and are unbeaten in their last 3 home games.
Line-up vs Scunthorpe:
Gk Tommy Lee Def Liam Cooper Def Ritchie Humphreys Def Ian Ivatt Mid Ollie Banks Mid Sam Morsy Mid Gary Roberts Mid Jimmy Ryan For Tendayi Darikwa For Eoin Doyle For Dan Gardner
Subs: Ian Dunbavin (Gk), Nathan Smith (Def), Sam Hird (Def), Drew Talbot (Def), Marc Richards (For), Jay O'Shea (For), Armand Gnanduillet (For)
Head-to-head:
Chesterfield wins - 17 Torquay wins - 10 Draws - 13
Last match: Torquay 0-2 Chesterfield (Banks 15; O'Shea 19), League Two, November 2013
Last match in Chesterfield: Chesterfield 1-1 Torquay (Darikwa 48; Howe 51), League Two, September 2012
Last Torquay win in Chesterfield: Chesterfield 1-3 Torquay (Stevens 20; Bowery 59; Howe 72; Nicholson 88), FA Cup, November 2011
Torquay have never won in the league in Chesterfield

If I were a gambling man I know on what game I would be putting a fair amount of my wedge on! I just can't see us getting anything out of this one.
The most interesting part of this game for me is who plays! By all accounts Mans (his own account also) didn't have much of a game on Tuesday night. And another two sloppy goals from a "Targeted" left side-you actually got something right for once Mr Knill! So if both of our veteran players are still in the team on Saturday then they're there because of friendship and not ability! Friendship begins with an F, and so does the word we will be if this continues!

Hello, fellow football fans! I am here as part of my research into a new project, looking at ways to help supporters reduce the cost off attending modern day football. Would you mind taking a moment to complete the attached simple survey. We are looking at potential ways to help football supporters reduce theirs costs of attending football matches and your responces would give us valuable feeback on what is important to fans who do travel to games, home and away, however often. www.surveymonkey.com/s/R96C736Many thanks.

Hargreaves has just recruited another loan striker. What is this bloke doing. If he cares to see past his obvious nepotism for Mansell and Nicolson he would not have a stand full of loaned strikers sitting on their butts doing nothing. Why get another striker in. No way will he drop buddy Benyon. That might upset Mansell and Nicolson. Where is Rudge? Is this new bloke better? Hargreaves is panicking or has read the Alan Knill book of football management. Off to Chesterfield tomorrow and I do not want to see Mansell, Benyon or Nicolson. Starting to get really pissed off now. My unemotional theory is that he is building a side for the conference. He knows he has a job if we go down and he might feel more comfortable down there. What is the point of putting myself out to go all that way, all that cost when I`m watching a Brian Rix farce unfold. Maybe an attacking side to Hargreaves is having 10 loanee strikers in the team? Bloody amatuers!

After Tuesday´s rather unexpected home defeat against Northampton my estimated end of season points total is now back on 47! We all know what that means. I have tomorrows game down as "null Punkte" (no points). Dare we hope for a small bonus? Football is a funny old game!

Never won a league fixture at their place. Just beaten by the bottom side. Chesterfield on a great run of form with just one defeat in thirteen matches and have put all of the lowly sides to bed with ease scoring plenty in the process. Must be our turn to upset the apple cart then - 2-1 to the good guys!

I am expecting a reaction after Tuesday night and wouldn't surprise me if we squeezed a point out of tomorrow's game! Here's hoping...

That's enough (Cruise ahead of Nico) isn't it?

If we don't the players sure aint going to. I have it as a high scoring 3-2 win in the prediction league. I think I'm losing it!
