Its a great trip (well any trip on a train is normally great): Off to Exeter tomorrow on the 0935. The 1737 Leeds to Sheffield is a bit shit tonight, mind. Only just left Wakefield Kirkgate.

We dont normally see Chelston rise that quickly but boy what a great protector he was--and it took his mind off the war chest for a while ;D ;D Cheers Longey, forgot about the Warchest although the it is a probably a myth...although money came in for Bobby, O'Kane, Robbo and Ellis and has been spent on.....£20K for Billy (this will be money well spent) and........? I'm thinking of starting a Paignton thread which will surpass all previous thread/posts and run longer than the Mousetrap. Looking forward to this Paignton thread Phil!! I spent 12 happy years in the Hayes Road area (and in/out the Devonport!!)

Research indicates Wildebeeste's film is "Four Lions". I must seek out Sheffield's steepest street as featured in the film. There'll be plenty of competition because parts of the city make Torquay look the Netherlands.
But could Sheffield's steepest fend off the challenge from Paignton?

As an aside, just noticed this under Ricardo's profile:
"Best Poster Of The Month Score: -1"
Bit harsh, no?

Will do Ric, but first I have to go to Exeter on the 0935. I think it should include the 'burbs of Goodrington and Preston. The Donkey Field eh.......................

Pictures of David Hirst on another thread; a reference somewhere to Wednesday's 1991 League Cup victory.
So a question about that 1991 final. Of the players on both sides, which played for Torquay United at some stage of their career?
