After doing what I needed to do in Okehampton this morning and having no need for once to go to Holsworthy, I decided to drive towards Torrington to get to Bideford. I have driven this road a number of times over the last ten years I have worked for Toolfix and so this ground is not one I have not seen before.
I did a Google search for Hatherleigh Town AFC, but came up with very little. All learned is the club was founded in 1904 and they play in the Devon and Exeter League. The pitch is nice and flat but the grass looked rather long. There is not that much to take pictures of so this is as best as it gets.
I would imagine our very own Barton Downs has been to this ground to watch a match, but I’m only guessing.
One thing my Goggle search did find was this badge for sale on Ebay
