My thanks to Jon Gibbes for pointing me to this site. I don't know why I took so long finding it. Anyhow, I am on now and have already found the conversations excellent. Good to see Merse still around (even though he stole a potential girlfriend of mine in 1972) and Brett. I am often about at aways and the like and I saw on the forum that people have seen me. I can get so wrapped up in things my vision tends to be distinctly tunnel so I am not always aware of whose about. People should always make themselves known to me, Torquay United is a big social for me and always will be. If anyone has any programme enquiries I may be able to help them, contact me any time. I am not a huge poster on forums but read every day. This forum appears informative and friendly, just right. Thank you all. Sam

A very warm welcome to you Sam and thanks for joining us, yes this Is the home Of Merse and many others I'm sure you will know. I work hard to make the forum a special place for Its members and I'm very friendly ;D.
You will see we have many great programmes that bartondowns has posted for our enjoyment and please feel free to post any you may think would be Of Interest to the members.
If you need any help using the site or have any Ideas to improve It, then you can PM me, Or post In on the forums suggestion board Or the forum help center, once again welcome.

Bloody hell, perhaps this site isn't for me after all. Sorry, not in to the Russell Brand style of humour and wit, think I will just keep a low profile.

I spied you from "on high"  at Crawley this season, but when I got down to where you had been you had moved on. We'll catch up soon! Don't worry about Kipper..................he's a mate. Cheers Sam I can understand how kippers remark could have been taken the wrong way, as I said everyone Is friendly On here, but we do like to play with Merse and Dave R v merse battles Of past have gone down In history, they still happen to this day, so don't read to much in to what Merse and I might say to each other at times  |

Welcome sam. Glad to see you on here. I am sure we have met at a few away games over the years , but I cant put a face to the name.

You make it sound like they were engaged...............he was the local copper and obviously of good taste as he fancied her like mad! We have two daughters (33 & 30 now) and five grand children. She's now got a fourteen year old son plus a five year old boy and I've got my seven and four year olds. |
