Thanks Timbo for that marvellous Bradford Park Avenue programme.

Note the presence of Jim Fryatt in their team, of course, but also that of Kevin Hector (later of Derby County and England). What a smashing player.

All the usual little talking points in a programme of such vintage: Baird actively recruiting “men and girls” (but not boys and women presumably); just the eleven pen portraits for Torquay United (well that’s the bloody team, isn’t?); an excursion from Bradford Exchange station which was to go the same way as the original Bradford Park Avenue (at around the same time); the inevitable advert for a West Riding building society.

And I wonder how Ackroyd are doing now with their typewriter and adding machine business?
