There comes a time in every father's life that you have to have that certain conversation with one of your children. It is a very uncomfortable situation but it has to be done.
Emma has done us proud and will be going to Plymouth University in September to study and, hopefully, qualify to be a teacher.
I sat her down and said that I had something very important to discuss with her that was so important with her being away from home.
I explained that she had her whole life ahead of her and that she should be sure before doing something that she would regret and possibly change her life.
Thank goodness she's a sensible, responsible girl and has agreed not go to watch Argyle ;D
