Well, we were only talking about the Dumnonii a week or two back. This was the name of the Celtic tribe that lived in the South West pre Saxon and I think translates as deep valley dwellers.
Having lived in Dawlish for a year, I know about the Parson and the Clerk with the headland rock looking uncannily like a face. Like a lot of tradition, this is firmly put as the fault of the devil.....

Without the aid of Google et al:
7. High Willhays (remember those papery things that fold out to fill your entire table-top? Well, I just used one of those for this - now I can't get it to fold back together!)
13. Doom Bar... is a sandbank on the River Camel... (it's amazing what trivia you can pick up at beer festivals).... also a bloody good ale made by Sharpes Brewery in Rock, Cornwall....
16. Admiral Blake
18. HMS Montacue(sp?) ...not sure when though...
19. December 22, 2012 (3pm).... :0)
25. John Knill (sounds like someone who should play for Exeter City!)... IIRC he was the mad Mayor of a Cornish town a good few hundred years ago (but for the life of me can't remember which one).
32. This has something to do with King Arthur(?)... a mythical land(?)
...I could google the rest, but I'll wait for the answers...
