The ProBoards severs came under a massive attack last week and one of the consequences were problems with custom domains.
I have just finished talking with Proboards and their message to me was
The network issues we had related to custom domains are not reoccurring. I have verified that we are seeing 0% packet loss on our network for custom domain users.
If that is the case then there should be no problems with posting on the forum. But all sorts of things can happen when we click the post button, for example we could have a drop out from the router we are using.
There is nothing more frustrating that writing a long post then hitting the post button and the post somehow gets lost.
I have always found it best to write long posts such as match reports in Microsoft WORD, that way you can then just copy and paste what you have written in the post window. If there was a problem, then you would still have all you wrote in the word document.
One other way is to write your post in the post window and then right click highlight all the text and click copy. Then if there was a problem you can open the post window again and just click paste and your post will then be there to try and post again.
It all seems OK for me my end, but if you are having any posting problems please PM me. I will then get it sorted out.
Thanks
Dave
