No point ranting, a miss timed challenge, a stud showing and your off these days all players have to play close to the edge of legal or they would be accused of not competeing .
Maybe time for Aldred to come on and push Ellis up front see what happens nothing much to lose now.

the thought of mcphee or atieno replacing howe for 3 crucial christmas games fills me with dread,our thin bench quality will catch up with us i fear

Howe misses the next 3 games, could it get any worse than that!!
YES, Bodin is not allowed to play against Swindon which probably means Atieno up front.
Is the loan market still open?? If it is it might be worth getting a striker in. If we do get a striker in we could always loan Atieno out if helps finance the new striker.

Certainly put paid to our chances of any decent results over Christmas. I would think that Ling will have to play McPhee up front as Howes replacement as Atieno just isn't League Two standard.

Oh dear, three vital Christmas games, without Howe, awful timing with Bodin unavailable on boxing day. Will be interesting to see the red card incident, second time off this season, he needs to learn, and fast. This will test our squad and may mean a dip into the loan market soon. Atenio up front doesn't fill me with hope for a festive Christmas, but I will be very happy to be proved wrong!!!  |
