We suffered a mauling in the previous meeting but it was really men versus boys in this fixture. This time around, with no travelling and Ling looking to change things around, it will be a stronger squad and hopefully the lads will be up for this with some points to prove.
I would like to see LRT play at left back as I think we are stronger defensively as a side with him there and that is no bad thing at present, particularly with a tough trip on Saturday. Despite some criticism from some quarters, when he initially supplanted Nico, I don't think we lost a match, (have we yet?) and at the very least he needs to be considered as a viable option.
Ellis should play and hopefully paired with either Robbo or Saah to get some understanding together. I would be delighted to see a clean sheet but with having to rest players, we may be light up front. How about just playing pros for the first hour?

Leadbitter Robbo Ellis LRT
Macklin Lathrope Yeoman Halpin
Spear McPhee

Finished 4-1. Just got back from the game. A bit boring but thats reserve games for you. Showed some game phases of play with 1-touch passing at times, at other times they needed to be able to hold the ball. Ricey made a hash of their goal a bit.

Shouldnt that be "Sort it out Herrera" Of course not the buck stops at the top ... or in the case of football at the managers level!
