I think it's great of Torbay Council to allow holiday makers to have a weeks break from the stresses of modern life on Paignton Green with no charge. Toilets just round the corner, lovely views, area to dry your washing - good value for the price. Members only though I'm afraid.

Not sure I wanted to post on this thread after what happened the last time we talked about travellers on here  I wondered last week where the two groups of travellers who were up on Galmpton Common had moved to and I could not believe they only went and set up camp on Paignton Green. Glad to see they were very soon moved off the green and its time we found away to stop this happening every single year. Maybe the answer is simply to find a suitable site just outside the Bay somewhere for them to use. We could then charge them could we not? |
