Dean Edwards has recently been appointed as manager of Unibond premier league side HEDNESFORD TOWN .. and today he appointed Matt Elliott as his assistant.
Deano is still a good friend of Wes Saunders and has plenty of contacts in the midlands, so it will be interesting to see if any other TUFC players are named at the Club soon!

Dean Edwards theres a name from the past, not much to him, but I aways like him, as for Matt, great defender. could do with some like him now at the club.

Matt limped off injured during a recent legends match...England v Scotland, much to the annoyance of Scotland manager Graham Souness! He may well feature for Hednesford Town as a sub during the season.
Deano still is a nice guy.... ;D

In my quest to get a rather unique Torquay United shirt signed up by various noteable ex players, I met up with Deano shortly before the disastrous CR takeover.
At the time he was in charge of Willenhall Town - and they were away to Berkhamsted.
After introducing myself, I had a lengthy chat with him ( before and after the game), over a couple of drinks.
Deano said that he still kept an eye out for TUFC's results.
I took a couple of photos on the day - if anyone could explain how to upload them, I will willingly put them on this board for all to see!!

Kev - load them up onto a site such as photobucket / facebook etc and then link to this site. If you register with a site it is then fairly self explanatory how to upload.

Hi Kev you need to use say photo bucket to upload them there, you will need to resize them. Then in the window were you write your post, click on the forth bottom button from the left [/img] When you resized your photos on photo bucket choose the direct link and put it in between the two Img things. If you have not used photo bucket, its easy and free, just sign up any user name and password, get photos on PC and away you go.

Great pictures Kev, but Deano sure has aged, while you still have those boyish looks. You and your mate, just little tackers then, always found your selfs with me and Ant by the fence on the popside, near the half way line. Do you remember the old man from Marldon called Roy? always had a big bag of sweets he passed around. Sadly he died about four years ago, at least he didn't see his club that he had watched all his life, go out of the league. You may remember his son, a big man with a mustache and glasses called Dave. Bumped into a few months back and Roy must be turning in his grave. He told me he no longer went to Plainmoor, he's an Argyle fan now
