Sunday 8th April 2012.
It is a year ago to the day that the most bravest and courageous lady I have ever known lost her fight against cancer. Carol really was a real lady with a big heart of gold who always put everyone else before herself. No ever deserves to die do they? Well this dear lady sure did not and at times we learn just how cruel this world can be we live in.
Sadly last year my dear friend Stuart also lost his sister to this evil disease and just over a month ago my life long friend died at the age of 51 from cancer. It is something that has taken so many good people and most way before they would ever have expected to see their life end. It’s why I hope all that can give to any cancer charity does so in the hope one day people will no longer die early and die what can be a very painful and cruel death.
The Just Giving website set up in Carols name is still running and anyone is still able to make a donation to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Charity if they might wish to do so.

Carol I was so proud to be the one to hold your hand and I’m so sorry that together we were not able to win in the end. I know you did not want me to cry any longer than I needed to and that you wanted me to try and find as much happiness as possible for how ever long I have left of my own life to live.
I’m doing that for you and will always cherish those magical 20 years we spent together as they sure were very happy ones full of love, fun, laughter and as we know so many tears due to the suffering and pain you had to contend with.
You will always be in my heart and I know you are always with me and always will be.
Love Dave
