Which former Torquay United player is commemorated by a bench in Tessier Gardens, St Marychurch?

This player was locally-born with a strong village connection. That would be Hele village. No relation to the Essex lad of a similar vintage who was once roundly abused outside his own tuck shop by a young gentleman in a TBGS uniform.

This player was locally-born with a strong village connection. That would be Hele village. No relation to the Essex lad of a similar vintage who was once roundly abused outside his own tuck shop by a young gentleman in a TBGS uniform. We're on the right track here..... There's an interesting assortment of benches in Tessier Gardens including one in memory of somebody who managed to be a father, grandfather and wife. Some mistake, surely? Maybe that's why it's "adults only".....

my footballing mates ex mother-in-law was his sister will find out through him,it is infact as correctly stated a bench memorial to the late graham bond
