Buckland (2nd) take on Bodmin (1st) in a eagerly awaited game at Homers Heath on Friday 23rd March ko 7.30.
Buckland look for revenge after a hammering in Cornwall earlier this season. and also a win will cement our aim o finish 1st or 2nd to get promotion to the western league.
Should be a good one with a large attendance expected.

Yes beaten by the better team on the night, but large fish in a little pond comes to mind, Bodmin will be happy to win the SWPL for the next x amount of years, at least Buckland have submitted an application to go up.
Hammer Deano did not score on the night.
Next game Falmouth at Saltash Semi final of the Throgmorton cup Tuesday 27th March

Mmmm..... yes!
Fair play to Bucks for trying it, but maybe they should have gone up when Massey wanted to do it instead of losing their bottle and ridding themselves of said fella.

Mad ferret if said person had stayed at the club Buckland wouldn't have been in the position to go up, he was gradually ripping the team apart trying to throw silly money around on not so good players. Best descion the clubs has ever made getting rid of him, since he left theyve won the league, st Luke's bowl and charity shield. Bodmin are strong this year, as it shows in the league table, unbeaten. They have 2nd place and promotion in their sights plus throgmorton final and a st Luke's semi final to come, so not doing to bad, and going up when they are structurally ready for it.

I do wish Bucks well, especially people like Roy Holmes who is a wonderful man and deserves success. There are many others involved with the club who also deserve it too, but a few up there give the club a bad name unfortunately.

Yeh mate agree, there are some really hardworking core people there who do lots of work and endless hours for nothing, but with success comes a few extra supporters who sometimes offer opinions that some people don't like. The other night at the Bodmin 1 watcher spent most of the game trying to wind Kevin miller up and at times was abusive, anyone near him would think how rude Buckland supporters are, but this lad was from another local team just watching. It will be good to get to see some western lge football down there if they get 2nd place?
