In the short Life Of this forum, many posts have been made about the Plainmoor experience and what It Is like for us. I have always felt I should be so much more than what It Is now.
We turn up pay at the gate, wait until the match starts, then It ends and out we file one by one. Many fans like Buster has emailed the club with Ideas to improve the match day experience and only ever received and email to acknowledge that the email had been received.
It was hoped that Sean would be able to put Our suggestions to the club and he would then be able to post the clubs answers. Sadly that never happened, so I would like to get a list OF all your wants and I Intend to then talk to the club and see, what they feel about them.
So what do you want? new stewards, better toilets, pre match entertainment, family tickets, what? Please post you Ideas On this thread, It does not matter If someone has already posted what you wanted to post, It will just show that It was not just one person who wanted that particular thing.
I hope we get plenty Of Ideas, so we can give the club much to think about, as I say I would hope to get answers to all the suggestions that you make.

All i'm really interested in is good football at whatever level that is. The food doesn't really bother me becuase I rarely use it. Half-time entertainment is a bit of waste of time and only distracts us oldies from catching up with each other. for me, the only thing that would get me to spend more at the ground would be pre or post match events. For example: post match - meet the players, match highlights pre match - draw to win tickets, car, money etc Always loved it when we played at 7.30pm on a Saturday. My Saturday started by playing for Harbertenford, a quick pint or two, dash to plainmoor to watch the game and then down the town to the 400 club. Great but not possible for a number of reasons these days. Too old to play, TUFC kick of at 3pm and someone has changed the 400 club Seriously, there isn't alot to attract or keep people in Plainmoor more than they have to but perhaps CR had the right idea with a new stadium development

My "hobby horse" remains the belief I have that the club should maximise the fondness held for stars past,by having a "Veterans Corner" where players of old should be invited along and indeed organised into some sort of roster so that every week a game is dedicated to one individual...................nothing too sophisticated, but maybe they could regale patrons of their time at the club and take some questions from the floor and this could be followed by a small selection of the players of the day and maybe the management taking the stage and doing the same regarding the game just finished. The latter is a feature of match days at Wycombe Wanderers and prolongs people leaving straight after the final whistle a treat! I'm sure a working party drawn from the TUST could get this off the ground as long as the club itself committed itself with ticket provision for the "vets" and the insistence that the current day squad played their part to the full. All you need is a good PA system and a charismatic anchorman to hold the interviews. People love re-living the past, the older ones the far past and the younger (and not so younger) ones; the immediate past!
