Watching yesterdays game I now wonder what side Is best for Carayol to play. In the first 20 Min's he was on the left hand side ans I felt was doing well, but he really seemed so much better, when he switched over to the right hand side.
It was his second half display on the right hand side that was the reason he got the man Of the match award.Do you think he Is better on the right and If so who should play on the left.
I felt Desane looked good yesterday playing On left and I'm sure Carlisle Is also happy to play there, just not sure who I think would fill the role better.

Carayol has to stay on the right. Over the last couple of games he has come to life in that position. Leaving opposing full backs in his wake and delivering great crosses.
Sadly, my heart tells me that Paul Buckle will play Wayne Carlisle on the right when he is fit again. Don't get me wrong here, I like WC and feel he has come on in leaps and bounds, but MC is better at this present time!

Carayol & Carlisle. Get them to keep swapping, that way it changes things up and defenders find it harder to defend against.

I think Carayol was so good on the right because of the lack of pace and general weaknesses of the left back. Therefore, I really think it depends on the defender to an extent but it's great to have wngers who can switch flanks like that.
