Timbo has made an incredible effort putting programmes on this site. I've just found a load of "homes" from the 1960s that he posted towards the end of 2011 and early in 2012. Unfortuately we must have been pre-occupied at the time because most are unacknowledged. Thank you, Timbo, for keeping going during this period of indifference.
This is a good one. Hereford United in the FA Cup, a few seasons before they knocked Newcastle United out of the same competition. A team, of course, that we were destined to play many times over the next forty-odd years.
Frank tells us that it was a "tense struggle" at Edgar Street and it looks like he's been talking to a few punters who remember the 1948-49 cup run. There won't be so many of them left now I suspect.

I remember attending this match mainly for the name John Cahrles and the opportunity to see the great man in action. These were good times for our club with great attendances and atmosphere in what was a characterful but ramshackle old ground and when money didn't always dictate and rule.
Yes sad to see the air of indifference and apathy we have now on this forum with hardly anyone bothering to post their views.
Well done Timbo by the way love to see these old programmes.
