I was saddened today to see the fire at the seafood factory which will put jobs at risk in an area which is an employment black spot already.
they said that they process 3 tonnes of crab a day. that's alot of crab!! Where will this go now? I hope they had a back up plan

Strange I was on the forum at that time and all the fire engines would have had to drive past my house as I live on the Brixham Road, I never heard one, well get me on here and I shut the whole world out

No..it was listening to punk rock at full volume for years that did it mate....wife still tells me off when she starts the car after I have been driving it. She doesn't understand the joy that the clash belting out can bring.

Looks like the fishplant down Long Road to me. It gives off a ruddy horrible fishy smell (well being a fishplant, it would do) most days.

Tesco's along with other major supermarkets In Torbay as well as local fish shops. reported a huge drop In fish sales yesterday.
It has now been found that the reason for the drops In sales, was due to a man In a van.
It seems someone yesterday was selling very cheep smoked haddock as well as many other smoked fish, from a van that was touring the streets Of Torbay.
Local Police say they are looking for a man who has a dirty face and hands and smells like he has been near a fire and that some Of the fish that has been sold, seem to have been cooked to long as they appear burnt.
