Good evening ladies and gentlemen.
Carlisle fan here, there is a bus load of us coming down for our match at Exeter on Saturday 5th November, coming down Friday evening and leaving Sunday lunchtime.
You'll be pleased to know though that we've preferred to stay in Torquay rather than Exeter.
So, what are the best pubs and nightclubs to go to in Torquay these days, also theatres, comedy clubs, live music venues etc, anything drink/entertainment related for a Friday and Saturday evening really if you can advise.
I've had a quick browse round the internet but these days you never know if anywhere is going to be open one day and then closed the next.
Thanks in advance.

Good morning, Most of us are in shock after yesterdays game, by the 5th November you wont find room in the harbour for yellow shirted bodies. Most if not all the action is on the Harbour/Clock Tower with discotheques for the young 'uns. I'm sure some of them when they wake up (this afternoon) can recommend where to get down and jiggy with it. Boozers - London Inn, The Green Ginger and The Clock Tower Indians - Curry Ocean and Maha Bharat (we hope to be in one of them on the 19th). Proper Food - Legends, best steak in town. I'm sure others will chip in with other venues. Hope you stuff the Greeks, but take a clothes peg because their away end stinks of pi**.

The harbourside area around the clock tower has as many pubs, restaurants and discos as you need. Best of luck at Exeter lads! Accomodation, Travel Lodge or Premier Inn both within walking distance of the town center but the PI is closer and recommended. My favourite pub for the elder supporters (no rowdies) is the Hole in the Wall, up a back street near the Clock Tower, ask a local where it is. They do good bar snacks. Directly opposite is the Devon Arms, a good pint and they often have live music.
