............There Can Be Only One True Lolly-Ice - surely the Emperor of all 70s lolly-ices, Zoom, Fab, Heart and Count Dracula's Secret all close contenders........... ......this appears to bear a remarkable resemblance to Lord_hawhawhawhawhaw, possibly? - Mr_Chelstongull aka Baron_of_the_Bongos will comment, I expect...........

..........Whilst on our Curry Night t'other night, the subject of various Subbuteo games came up, especially the existence of one Subbuteo Snooker.............. www.peter-upton.co.uk/sports.htm(scroll a bit of the way down) ..........it certainly was in existence once, rejoicing in the name of Subbuteo Snooker Express! - Jon certainly remembers it, I alas only recall the Angling as one of the fringe elements of Subbuteo World in those far-off days, having to settle for Pot Black snooker on a Fri night on our brand-new colour telly! - btw loving the players there on their bases holding the little cues!................ ...while you're at it, why not have a good look at ALL of the above site, truly superb if you, like us were a true child of Subbuteo times!..........

Remember that Chelston wouldn't have played WW2 themed games when he was a boy. It hadn't happened yet.

............probably the best board-game of them all, oh such glorious memories of happy Reddenhill Road days when we were kids and the world seemed so much simpler, baggsy not the "Jerrrmans"............ I've got this version and played it with the kids as recently as last week! Unfortunately the design shown here was rapidly replaced due to being deemed offensive. Very strange seeing as it was co-designed by Pat Reid himself! Not long after that Airfix pulled the plug on including authentic German markings - absolutely ridiculous as authenticity is the whole point of modeling and has nothing to do with politics.

Vesta curry in a box only 99p at the Lidl a stone's throw from your parents' house. Thought you might like to know! I was tempted, but have the feeling that the childhood memory might be tastier than the reality!
