The TFF no more is no more.  I spoke to Dave tonight who had basically reached the end of his tether and took the forum off line. Obviously we are go again and will post more about this later. Sorry about any inconvenience. Rob |

Must admit the message confused me and I honestly thought that was it but here we all are once again.
Dave has taken a few personal "hits" on here of late, all completely unnecessary and lacking in any understanding.
If is affecting Dave emotionally then he should indeed call it a day and hand it over to anyone willing to continue with this very valuable service and community.
It would be very disapointing to see this well respected forum fold where, away from the football side so many good things have happened and friendships have been formed.

A very perceptive post Pete and anyone can see that Dave is not having a good time of things at the moment. As site owner, his head very much sticks over the parapet in the line of fire and he cannot be that ordinary member that I think he is looking to be and therefore I have advised him to step back from things for now. I am not sure as to how the longer term management of this site will pan out but I will continue to do the admin and basically enjoy reading and writing about my football team with the great members on this forum. |

Some people cope with loss better than others.....Dave sadly is obviously still struggling.
For the life of me, I can't understand why certain posters feel it necessary or right to have a pop at Dave.......it seems akin to kicking a defenceless dog.

Just to confirm I aint kicking a defenceless dog. Dave headlines a thread with how bad our club is and then in another he tells us that he is giving Plainmoor a miss and change to the delights of Buckland!! Surely I am allowed to support the club and defend it or do we just have to read the posts,accept the views and move on?? No kicking from me just not agreeing, there is a difference |

No kicking from me just not agreeing, there is a difference I don`t think he was refering to you Longie and I don`t believe you would word things in a way that would have offended, others have been a tad `attack mode` when argueing the toss and some have just questioned what`s been said whilst defending the club, I believe there is a big difference like shouting at someone compared to talking to them. |
