the webb era along with the roberts disgrace are in my opinion the two worst periods in the clubs history, webb systematically stripped the club of all assets and made us a laughing stock, gates plummeted to the 1200 mark and the stand burnt down,we also ended up bottom of the league.Currie came to us a finished player and it showed, although in his time was a great player,as for webb is he cousins with roberts? both had lots of unpleasant things in common

.........Yes. it is so very, very sad how TUFC really WERE the bottom of the dung-heap when all the shiite that is out there trying to blag work came a-looking in our corner of the jungle in their time of personal need of a job - viz a viz in no particular order, Webb, Golac, May, Roberts - I guess with decades of poor management/directorial decision making from the what was at times absolutely shambolic boardroom antics up at the House Of Eternal Pain, this was always likely to happen with let us say, a fair degree of naivety displayed by various boards over the years in their employment of multifarious, assorted herberts, chancers, divvys and ne'er-do-wells, along with the assorted baggagery, cronies and skeletons in cupboards they hiked along with 'em for the ride - hopefully those days are past (for now anyway!!!)............

Anyone remember that goal by Tony Currie, i was in the ministand and if my memory is correct he flicked the ball up and smashed in a volley from about 25 yards against Hereford i think. A rare bright spot in a bloody terrible season !
