I hope that TUAFC1 will give us his views On Martin Rice later tonight. Ant has gone up to watch Tiverton vTruro, because he said he just wanted to watch a game Of football tonight.
One would hope that as he has been playing every week, that he should be a showing signs Of improvement. Does anyone know what results Truro have been getting and how many goals per a game Rice has let In.

Truro's website is very good indeed. Here's the squad page, click on Ricey's name to see his personal stats. Seems like he's doing okay. In the eight games he's played, their record reads W6 D2 L0 F27 A6. You read that right, 27 goals in eight games!

170 goals in 135 starts! Quite similar to my Sunday League record, to be fair.

Truro ran out 4-3 winners in this very evenly matched contest & in response the the title of this thread,Um No is the honest answer, pulled off a few good reaction saves but was at fault for 2 of the 3 Tiverton goals & got stranded on a few occassions at crosses. Although Rice did pull off a great penalty save & as The Tiverton player stepped up to take it I said to my mate, just think 5 months ago Ricey was saving a penalty at Wembey & now look at him playing in front of 300 at Tiverton.

Looking at his record In goal so far Ant, with him In goal Truro has not lost any games, It looks from your views that he Is still prone to mistakes that cost goals. Maybe without their goal machine they have, they would not have won the games they have so far.
I still think he will do well for Truro, as I feel he has found his level to play at. Don't really think he will ever be good enough to play IN the BSP, but I would like him to prove me wrong.
