::)I have been pretty surprised at the standard and sheer watch-ability of the womens game in Germany.
There have been some excellent and very entertaining matches and I have been gobsmacked by the technical ability of some of the girls playing. Some of the technique has been absolutely top notch.
The women's game has come on leaps and bounds over the last decade and is quite rightly rising in popularity both nationally and world wide. Watching these girls play has been a breath of fresh air. They play honestly and with passion despite the fact that the physical aspect of the game is at a lower level. Its the technique and intelligent use of the ball that has surprised me and watching Japan defeat Germany epitomised those skills.
Very good to watch, Brazil v USA next on Sunday if you haven't taken a match in then watch this and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Maybe TUFC could generate some income and perhaps more importantly some NEW interest from a woman's side that represented the club.
