One other thing I have consistently noticed over the past few seasons is that for many decades we always fell away badly in the second half and closing months of the season. Rarely did we maintain or improve form and results in the final 15/20 fixtures as we have under PB. It was always expected that we would tail off and we usually did when in a position of relative strength and supporters would always say that we didn't want it or the club simply couldn't afford to go up a level. Well that notion has certainly been thrown out of the window and long may it continue. That`s because Bateson no longer has anything to do with the club! Agreed but the "myth" goes much further back than his time here.

Yes it does Pete, I am aware of that, he did a pretty good job single handedly of keeping the myth alive though, ask Leroy!

Why is the grass a red/brown colour? Pictures look really old but very sharp, I`m taking that was deliberately done for effect. It`s almost nostalgic!

Looks good, I hope you didn`t think I was dissin` your work, it`s like reading a really old match day programme sort of feel to it!

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_3/9430869.stmLooking at the match highlights I certainly don't think Scott was at fault for any of the goals. I do however feel we were guilty of some poor marking and how much room did we give the winger to put in his cross for their second goal.
