With that all important win for the first team and Oxford losing by five goals on Saturday it could be a good time to visit the Kassam Stadium. With the central defender pairing of Wright and Creighton also suspended for this game surely there will be opportunities to test a reconstituted defence. Mansell will be back as captain and hopefully, with a bit of luck Robertson will have recovered from illness as I suspect Senda won't make this game. If not, take your pick from Mansell, (probably not), Oastler and Carlisle taking on this role. Wroe may be in with a shout of playing again to resume his partnership with Mansell. On the wings, I think Rose and Zebroski are the best options for this game. It is hard to leave O'Kane out of the side and maybe he will play in the hole with Benyon up front on his own to test the defence with accurate passing and movement. Target man and holding the ball up duties are not Benyon's forte so tactics would have to be spot on unlike the first half yesterday. Another win could see us back in a play off position and full of confidence for a financially important FA cup game against Mansfield.

The police are out in force for ths game due to last time when the thuggery from the stupid Oxford fans wasnt dealt with after they bricked our supporters coach. I hate Oxford United, thier club thier fans thier stinking town everything thier reeks. Hate it. Thier fans should be banned from football, they deserve to be non-league.
The game itself I hope will be good. Mansell will be back and hopefully we`ll cut out the mistakes that cost us dearly all the time. Will be a 2.0 win for us.

I think that's a bit extreme Joe, it's only a very small minority of their "supporters" that did that and you can't tar them all with the same brush. Oxford is a lovely city as well (except for that huge estate that had one of the worst car crime rates in the Western world!). I would suggest a day taking-in the colleges and the Ashmolean.
I'll be heading to this one as I'm not a million miles away in the afternoon. I must admit that for much of the game on Saturday I was less than inspired to go to the trouble but some real flair and ability with the arrival on the pitch of O'Kane and Rose (who I fully understand why they were on the bench) changed my mind! I'll be parking in the car-park unless anyone else suggests that there is anywhere better?
Although there were many aspects on Saturday that were lacking there was more than enough to keep most teams at this level busy at the back. It might be a disadvantage in some ways that Mark Creighton is out tomorrow because we are playing without a striking battering-ram, the sort of duel that Branston always relishes (it's the strikers with the quick feet that do for him!). Branston against Constable will be interesting! Who will get booked first!??!
If Robertson is still out then perhaps Oastler at right-back and Mansell back in midfield? Bucks certainly has some options.
Come on you Yellows!

Think we look a bit stronger squad wise tonight, particularly as i can see Mansell and Wroe starting in midfield. I personally saw Saturdays game as being the harder of the two as we seemed to be down on numbers. With both of Oxford's first choice centre halves being suspended you would have to say it would be a big disapointment if we don't get something tonight.

Quality, it was there players that got sent off!!! ;D I know Robbo was ill and Lee was suspended, I did get it but seeing it the other way was funny!

Begining to worry about Mat Green as he would love to prove a point tonight and they have players out so he could get a go at us. Tends to be a trend that our ex-players score against us, one that sits rather uncomfortably with me. I see in Mr.Hergreaves blog that the first team in his list of ex-teams just happened to be us, I recon he`ll be there tonight due to loyalty to both teams he played for and captained. I wonder if he`s pulling for a draw!
