Didn't make it in the end. Just got-in and popped-on Gulls Player - and Rose has been sent-off..... Hang-on, Macklin has been sent-off (nicely observed on R Devon!). It's going to be a long-old 70 odd minutes now - whether the sending-off was jusified or not it is going to be an even tougher ask. I'd probably take a draw given that we've got so long until the end.
It's not as bad having Macklin sent-off as it would have been losing Rose - Macklin was poor on Saturday.

Under continous pressure.......then we get our 1st corner and it's headed off the line.
Once again we look dangerous going forward but struggling at the back........Beavon makes a great save or it was a shocking miss, bit of both apparently......its going to be one of those nights!

Crikey !!! In my moan about the moaners in an earlier post ... Bucks has seen fit to take off Rose and bring on Robbo ! I may need to have a moan about that ??

On the face of it Rose *sounded* like our best outlet, but although it is important to be able to have someone who can set the Oxford team on the back foot and take the pressure off off the defence, it is important to have that discipline - did Rose offer that? Bucks probably doesn't think so if he he deemed that as the correct change to make. He's not wrong very often these days in my book.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating JM! If it works he will be lauded, if it doesn't he will be slaughtered. Either way we're down to 10 men, you would expect Oxford to win this - especially as the players that they are missing tonight are defenders and they certainly have some decent attacking options.
I would imagine that the longer the match goes-on the more change of Bevan getting booked for time-wasting!!

I suspect that this will result in at least 26 minutes of added time. Either that or Sheldrake invokes the new "next Oxford goal wins" FIFA rule.
