This is turning into a very good pre-season, wins against Bristol City and Plymouth Argyle, plus wins against Tiverton and Bovey Tracey plus Weymouth town.
Weston-Super-Mare will provide tough opposition, they may have had a reprive from the Blue Square South last season but none the less they will be wanting to prove next season that they are good enough for the BSS.
Billy Kee is showing that he can score goals all the time and Benyon is getting into shape and improving his fitness. With Martin Gritton as well wes have that experince that we really needed upfront and gives us that extra umph up front.
Having Guy Branston back is a big bonus. Those crunching tackles, his leadership qualities and his ability to improve other defenders around him (Mark Ellis) is excellent.
Weston-SM in the past 4 season have finished in the relegation zone in the BSS only to be given a reprive every time. Daren Mullings is a WSM player and is the team Ben Joyce was loaned out to last season.
My prediction is a 5-0 win, Billy Kee with 2 and the other 3 going to Benyon, Stevens and Gritts.

Looking at last year's PSFs, I suspect that Buckle will look to play his starting XI against Northampton also against Yeovil and will select his players for this match accordingly.

I see from the HE this morning that the Exeter City behind closed doors match has been squeezed in today. Robbo is being rested as he is a little sore at present.

Yes Chris both former Torquay players.
I know that Darren Mullings was there after leaving us but I dont know if he is still there or not. Seeing as he isnt in the squad then I dont think he is. Anyone know where he is now?

Also Steve Orchard playing at right back for WSM last night made a handfull of appearances for Torquay under Wes all from the bench I think.

Not much in the way of any reports for this game and I had wanted to do a grounds review photo shoot at their ground today, sadly I had far to much to do work wise and will do it in the very near future, so had to make do with just the one picture.

Steve Orchard is one of the players who will appear on Barty's A-Z of TUFC players who never played for TUFC when he gets round to it. He never actually got onto the pitch in a "first-class" game. He turned pro in 2003 after a two year apprenticeship, featured in a few pre-season friendlies and was an unused substitute in one League game and one LDV Trophy game. He had a poor game in a 2-3 Devon St Luke's Bowl defeat at Torrington and was released soon after.
