Must be the most insecure job going being a football manager, one minute a hero, then the next a villain and hounded out Of town. Think I'll stick with my job thanks.

What a strange appointment that is. I'm sure West Ham fans will enjoy the quote of "I want to manage a big club before I retire". ;D

So sorry to see Ramos go. Personally I thought he was doing a terrific job.
Can anybody sense a little bit of Arsenal in me?? ;D

Another example of knee jerk, confused and football illiterate decision making by a Chairman who doesn't appear to know his soccer arse from his elbow. Not content with shoving out the knowledgeable David Pleat and replacing him as Director of Football with Frank Arnesson, and then a guy (Daniel Comolli) who's only modus operandi seemed to be to rely on getting conned by the agents of total nonentities, he scandalously stabbed Martin Johl in the back by lining up the hapless Ramos. Johl had been diligently re-building the damaged football infrastructure that started to be ruined with the appointment of the arrogant Glen Hoddle as manager and was in total disarray under Jacques Santini - a guy who was only ever interested in his own profile and couldn't be arsed with the club's famous "production line heritage" so much so that it soon fell into dysfunction...................scandalous when one considers how much he owed personally to the opportunity that great club gave him in his formative years. There's more to managing a club - especially a truly big club than getting First Team results. Johl was assiduously doing just that, I wonder if Ramos was? Comolli is now "history" as well I understand. How long before the REAL power behind the throne............. the shareholders and investors realise that their Chairman is the REAL problem, and shove him to where the sun certainly isn't shining over N17 this morning.

The same Jol who is now working at Hamburger SV and is doing a good job overthere!

To be honest, when he joined spurs I didn't think he'd last more than twenty four hours!
