pikeygull, from day one Of this forums life, all boards have been set, so only registered members could post on them, I have seem plentyOf forums that have allowed guests to post and have been spammed to death.
The big question has only been, does the forum work better, If its only viewed by Its members, who have to log in to view It, Or If It Is open for guests to view. At the end Of the day I only care that the forum works as best as possible and nothing else Is really important. I took swansgulls views on board, acted on them and will see what happens.
