One thing that I have often banged on about on this forum, Is the lack Of communication, between our new board and the fans.
I have had Merse defending the club, going on about the club being a business and having to be commercially sensitive etc.
While we all understand there are times when information has to be kept In house, Or transfer activity, needs to be kept under wraps, to reduce the risk Of the club losing Its targeted player, there Is so much that should be made known to the fans.
Watching the news last night, It was clear that we as fans Of TUFC are not alone In thinking we do not get good communications Or information from our club. Yeovil, a club who has enjoyed great success over the last six years, now find themselves near the bottom Of the table In Division one.
It was clear hearing the views Of the fans who were interviewed, that all they really seemed to want, was information from the club about what was going on.I'm sure If they had been given the information they seeked, then there would not be a growing resentment towards those running the club.
Our board has had plenty Of time to address the many problems It took over, from the fated Roberts days, I firmly believe It the club Is too move forward, forming a much closer bond with the fans has to happen. There are so many ways and ones that are so simple and would have no cost to them, that could be put into place.
So come On the TUFC board, start thinking about the fans, who are the life blood Of the club and reach out and show them that not only are you there, but you want to form a much better bond with them. Unless you don't want too
