Chelston playing in the FA Amateur Cup with a match being staged at Plainmoor on a Saturday evening? That's a new discovery for me. Do we know more? That must have been Woodlands, a very successful Plymouth and District League side of the day: www.plymouthwestdevoncombination.co.uk/LeagueHistory/index/865Apparently it was the first qualifying round. Not sure how many qualifying rounds were played but the only South West teams in that season's first round proper (round of 64) were Lydbrook Athletic (Gloucestershire), Westbury (Wiltshire) and Welton Rovers (Somerset).
