Not a happy bunny! Van broke down, lost half a days pay and managed to split me feckin head open! The sooner that moon buggers back off to where it`s meant to be the better! So not one of your best days then Aussie Yes you are talking about the big moon over the weekend, in fact it was a "perigee moon," and the biggest moon we've had since 1993. But no matter how big it looked Aussie, that full moon was 221,565 miles (356,575 kilometers) away. On Saturday, March 19th after it hit its full phase, it was as I said, the biggest and brightest full moon since 1993. The "supermoon" phenomenon occurred because the moon was in its full phase and just 50 minutes past perigee – the point of its orbit that brings it closer to Earth. Now many claim a full moon effects them in very strange ways, I have always felt it has had some effects on me personally. Does anyone else get effected by a full moon? like to share with us what happens to you? Two great shots of the super moon over the weekend.

A lunar month is 29.5 days, and in fact the word 'month' shares its origin with the word for 'moon'. The moon has long been associated with madness, hence 'lunatic'. Many people still mistakenly believe that man landed on the moon on 20 July 1969. But as davethegull will verify, this was in fact a hoax set up by global-warming theorists and their evil leftist vegetarian brethren in the media and the teaching fraternity

Sorry to hear your news btw Aussie. I would however advise against writing 'perigee moon' on any insurance claim papers
