as of now david graham is not attached to any club as he has parted company with worksop,a wasted talent whose career seems to of nosedived on leaving us.One of many talented players whom seem to blow it,a flawed genius,he is without doubt, not what could of been, but what should of been,i am pretty sure the highlight of his career will be our promotion season and the win at southend, which is good, but a player of his undoubted quality should of had far far more in the trophy cabinet to talk about. No doubt he will turn up somewhere else, but what a wasted footballer he has become

Only just picked-up on this post. It is a real shame that he never made it because he was one hell of a player for us.
I would think that he would have made a few quid between his move to Wigan to the time that he finally moved down the league after leaving Sheffield Wednesday for his spell at Gillingham then Lincoln. That would be three seasons of decent wages. I know he had a place down here that I expect that he rented-out, hopefully he invested his money wisely and it can give him a bit of a living.
It is a classic "what might have been" - what would have happend if he had stayed here (and I don't blame him for leaving one little bit) or if he had moved to a progressive club where he didn't have to dislodge the hugely prolific Ellington and Roberts? Of course we'll never know. I've seen much more limited players in terms of ability play long careers at higher levels and blistering pace was never part of his armoury - a thundering shot and the ability of knowing where to be in the box was - at 32/33 you would have bet on him still palying in the league at his age when he left us.
We had a good three and a bit seasons and even apart from the stop-start spell he had when MacFarland was in-charge he scored some cracking goals - and had the sort of ability that was very very rare at this club. Despite the audacity he showed on the pitch he seemed a very quiet and unassuming person away from it.

he was not what people think as in loud hellraiser, and as you say was a fairly quiet chap,he drank a bit as we know. The wife and i were very friendly with his mum and dad, really smashing decent people,we used to phone each other a couple of times a week when david was with us,his dad was very honest and open about why david ended up with us,infact rangers nearly kept him,but he was a bit of a monkey whilst there.Yep he made a few quid along the way, butdeep in his heart i am pretty sure some regret pops in now and then
