I always enjoy my trips to Buckfastleigh Rangers ground, its one of the better South Devon league grounds and it is also floodlit.It matters not what team is playing at home be it the first or second team, the club house is always open. The very nice canteen lady also always turns up to make you a nice cup of tea or coffee. Smile at her nicely and she also cook you some chips as well.
The pitch is reasonably flat and always has a good covering of grass over it, but its nowhere near the standard you will find at such grounds as Bucklands at Homers Heath in Newton Abbot.
Its is a bit exposed standing watching a game there and my hands today sure felt very cold. Its a very welcoming club, but you may just find some of the local lads cheering on their team, are somewhat loud.
