What a fantastic night my son and i had last night at the Cardiff Indoor Arena.
I saw them 3 years ago with the wife but they were even better than that.
It was a great disappointment to me that i never got to see Freddie but this went a long way to make up for it. It is quite something to fulfill a life's ambition. I have followed Queen since 1975 and to see your idols only 10 feet away, just blows you away. i was near to tears on several occasions.
Dreams are important to everyone and I hope you all experience at least one in your lifetime.

I missed out on two dreams Stu, one was the see ELO play live, the proper one with Jeff up front, still I got to see part Of the original at Torquay, sadly no Jeff. The other was to see Norman Wisdom live on stage, I had tickets for the show In Torquay, but got a call from my agent to do a last min gig at a top hotel, that I had been trying to get into. So I took the gig.
Sad story what has happened to Norman, I get as much information as I can, hes been banged up In an old folks home, the cars he loved sold, who needs family ;D

They sure love Norman in Albania!!
ELO were a favourite of mine many years ago. Never quite got my head around the fact they had a muscular drummer called Bev ;D

Glad you got to live your dream Stu, I think mine was to be an entertainer, just had to wait until I was 40(to get rid Of holding back first wife) before I was able to make It come true.
No one should ever give up on their dreams, keep them alive and they can come true.

Dreams are important to everyone and I hope you all experience at least one in your lifetime. I know what you mean, when i was young i always wanted to run the London Marathon, it was a lifelong ambition. Finally in 1999, when i was 27 i did it and completed it, for charity. It was the most emotional day of my life (apart from doing it in 2000, and 2001 as well) ;D

Dave, sorry no programme. There were a lot of bands there in the early 70's - Roxy Music and Supertramp to mention two (never got to see either of them).
One of the gigs I wished I had seen was the Anarchy In The UK Tour in 1977 which was banned by our forward thinking council (and the stranglers). It would have been great to have seen the Pistols, Clash, damned and all the 400 club for the night.
