What weird and wonderful people run our game. I have just read that FIFA are considering banning the SNOOD, as worn down the Emirates catwalk by Samir Nazri, as It could pose a danger if and when an opponent grabs hold of it when a player is in full flight. If my memory serves me correctly Norman Hunter used to grab more than a snood to stop an opponent Now I could understand this if the said fashion accessory was called a NOOSE but a polar neck without the arms and trunk? Have they nothing better to do with their time? I suppose they have so much time on their hands they have to dream up directives to justify their comfy positions and huge salaries which brings me onto the proposed introduction of vanishing spray. I quite like this one its a spray that applies a temporary line so that referees can mark the pitch for defensive walls at set plays. It disappears within a minute and leaves no trace. Ausie have used it on Raynor last week made him invisible before thrusting his lady fork between the arseholes legs. Oh and Vuvuzelas are on sale in Lidl for 99p go on make a noise at Plainmoor you know you want to.

After reading an article on this, I don't understand at all the rule about snoods. I mean, I doubt the amount of damage they would cause if pulled and it's the player's fault if their poor little necks get hurt I don't know why players are forced to make a fashion statement on the pitch, if that's what nasri is trying to do... And as for the vanishing spray, my dad has seen it used in south America and says it's very good. I do get annoyed when the refs let the wall stand 6 yards away and the ball is blasted into it.. Something needs to be done and this is the least stupid suggestion I've heard out of FIFA in 5 years. 99p?!? Yeah don't expect lidl own brand vuvuzelas to work! That's no to say I won't try it though...

I have never agreed with the wearing of them in the first place, players should only be allowed to wear out on the pitch the kit itself and nothing else. Do they wear them just as a fashion statement? or do they keep their necks warm? I don't agree with wearing gloves as well, its a mans game is it not? I though Vuvuzelas were banned by our club, so no point buying one unless you are going to a local game and might want to use it there. But I would not recommend trying that as you might just end up getting chased out of the park.

Yeah in the BBC article I read it mentioned that players could wear 'tights' (by which I assume they mean under-layers) if they are the same colour as their kit. I agree with the snoods as I dont see why you need them anyway! I read they wear it as a fashion statement, and doesnt your whole body get warm when you play? It is a mans game, you're right there, however I must admit to wearing gloves while I play... They're yellow so it's okay, right? Yeah and somehow I doubt I'd be able to play I anyway! Chased out of the ground.. Not sure I feel like that after some of he stories coming out of people's mouths after Saturday!

I can see a potential safety issue with snoods, particularly in, say, a clash between an outfield player and a goalkeeper. No-one want to see their favourite player garroted on a Saturday afternoon.
I don't subscribe to this "it's a man's game" b*llocks. Sounds to me like something Andy Gray would say. Personally, I find it uncomfortable to play with cold hands, and have worn gloves myself as an outfield player. If some pillock wants to think not wearing gloves validates him as a man or a human being, then he's welcome to that view. It makes no odds to me.
I see no good reason whatsoever for banning gloves (or snoods for that matter) on taste or 'macho' grounds.

What a vile dishonourable and disrespectful prick he is - and that's putting it nicely. Should have gone down like a sack of spuds like their players did during the match and had him up for assault.
