I remember so well the very first plug into the TV game I ever played and I’m sure you all played it too. A very simply game where you had a sort of white bat and had to try and hit back at you opponent a small square object that was meant to represent a ball.
Over the years I have had some very good computer games I have enjoyed playing and I have always been amazed by the ever increasing quality of the graphics used into today’s game.
I have seen on the TV the adverts for such games machines as the wii and laughed at the idea of holding onto some sort of control and having to move around in front of the TV screen.
Late this afternoon and for a good part of the evening( until Carol got a bit too tired) I have been at a large family party at one of Carols sons house. It’s a very large house indeed and the first time I have had the opportunity of seeing it.
Carols sons were playing on the new Xbox connect and I sat there and decided I wanted to join in and have a go. What a great toy it is, no controls and a box with censors in that respond to your every move.
I was soon in the boxing ring having a right punch of with Carol’s sons, then playing a game of football, table tennis, ten pin bowling and many other sports games. The only down side was it knackered me out completely, but hey I want one and what a great way to keep fit without the need to go and put on a pair of running shoes and look a fool jogging around the block at my age.
