A rich gentleman decided to go on an African safari holiday and take along for company his faithful and loving toy puddle.
On the second day of the holiday, the puddle was having fun chasing butterflies and went and got himself lost.
He stood for a while looking around and then to his horror, saw a very hungry looking leopard heading straight for him.
Fearing he was about to get eaten we did not know what to do, then noticed right beside him was a pile of bones.
He turned his back on the leopard and starting licking the bones and when he knew the leopard was in earshot, shouted out “that sure was a delicious leopard, I wonder if there are anymore around here”
The leopard stopped in his tracks and turned and ran away and the toy puddle breathed a sigh of relief.
A monkey up in a tree nearby had witnessed what had gone on and knowing he was likely to be on the leopards menu at sometime or other, decided to run after the leopard and tell him how he had been fooled by the toy puddle.
The toy puddle noticed the monkey running after the leopard and guessed what he might be up too.
When the monkey caught up with the leopard he told him he had been made a fool of and the leopard was very angry and shouted out” I’m going to go and eat that toy puddle right now, climb up on my back and I’ll give to a ride back to your tree.
A short while later the toy puddle looked up and saw the leopard running towards him again with the monkey on his back.
Fearing this time we really was going to be eaten he did not know how he was going to save himself this time.
Then it came to him, he once again turned his back on the leopard and licked the bones again, once the leopard was in earshot again he shouted out “ boy I’m so hungry again, where’s that bloody monkey, I sent him off over half an hour ago to fetch me another leopard”
Well I thought it was funny
