even when England were having their collective arses handed to them on a plate the Barmy Army still cheered them, applauded them and tried to lift them, why can they be such heroic fans yet when it comes to football the nation turns into this horrible selfish ugly monster? really really home sick! when did football adopt such arrogant attitudes! Yes Aussie, one thing can be proud of in cricket......the BARMY army.......and your right bout the footy.....and that includes our own fans Plainmoor. Just been reading some posts.....should be ashamed of themselves....and that's being polite.......si

5-0 pinkwash! happy days! Carberry is not international level, Pieterson's ego ruins dressing rooms, Trott bottled it, Swann bottled it, Anderson has gone from one of the best bowlers in the world to less than average, Cook's been exposed and cannot take the captaincy and knock up runs, goodness only knows why Bell has faded, England's big names need the axe! I would start with the board of selectors, axe the lot of them and build a young team around Joe Root!

Congratulations Aussie, absolutely pathetic from England and as you say, time for rebuilding and a new captain. Wasn't too impressed with Cook 's captaincy during the summer and has been found out!!!!

Congratulations Aussie on giving us a good can of woop arse.......personally now I don't think it is the right way to go changing cook or flower......as for bell he will be back in the runs......as for kp am unsure which way that will turn out..........we did expect the likes of Anderson to do the business as he usually does......he never lets us down....defo agree bout carbs not being test class ......don't know if we will see trott again.....there's a lot of good youngsters in county cricket......do like the look of Sam robson at Middlesex......the Overton brothers at Somerset ave of potential.......would stick with broth wick.....and obviously root maybe future eng captain in the making......so even we disappointed by our defeat.....we will come back stronger......well done again Aussie........si

Saw it in real time, that was my childhood era that hooked me on cricket! Incredible team the west indies but we destroyed them! Lloyd & Viv at the crease were amazing, what with Big Bird, Marshall and Holding exciting with the ball but we had DK Lillie, Thomo and Max Walker with his weird butterfly stroke action, the batsman that got me going was our keeper who hit an English bowler's delivery so hard he broke the bat in half and Ian Botham caught the blade of the bat at deep mid on! Their still looking for the ball!

Sorry forgot to mention it was Rodney Marsh with the bat, do you remember DK's aluminum bat and how it ruined cricket balls?
