Our next 5 games see us play Oxford, Rushden, Ebbsfleet, Mansfield, York. Going into these on good form is essential and I feel that these 5 games could really shape our season.
Not to show any disrespect to Lewes, Grays or Woking, whom we play after this run of 5 games but these are 5 teams who harboured realistic promotion aspirations at the start of the season so it is vital that we take points from them.
Lets also hope that the crowd figures rise a little, now that we are playing much better. I will certainly be at Plainmoor on Thursday.

After good results against Forest Green, Cambridge, Wrexham and now Stevenage in the last five games I think we can play any team in this league with a degree of optimism!!

a minimum of 8 points from these games would set the team up for a promotion push any more would be a bonus

The most pleasing thing Is, that we now really can look to the next five games with real optimism. Only a month ago people were already starting to write us off, but we have seen a great turn around in our results.
What Is important Is not to get to carried away with expectations again, having them far too high at the start Of the season, was the reason Bucks was turned on, when we stuttered for a while. Yes we can expect our team to try and win these games, yes we can expect every player out on the pitch, to give his all. The effort and work rates have been there for all to see and Its the one thing that will always lift fans.
This is football and we know that no game Is won Or lost until the whistle is blown at 90 Min's, a lucky goal a doggy penalty against us, could cost three points, after being the far better team. We know It was such penalty, that got this run started, we do not want one against us to end It.
I think two games On one week again, plus the game being on TV, will result In a low gate, It could be only around 1600, not what we need, but at least we will get some money from the TV company.

Anyone notice the results yesterday? This division is very open. There is no need to set points targets or to describe the next few games as crucial. Yes we need to pick up points to stay in touch but at this stage that is all. This season may well see the title go right down to the wire. Let us hope we are still in the mix at the end.

Maybe not Andy, but playing the teams who could win this league and taking points from them, might a be a bit Of an indicator as to where our season may go.

I did notice that we've already played four of the top 6 teams away from home.(Crawley, Kiddie, Histon, Cambridge) Nice to have got those games out of the way.
Mansfield and Rushden will be tricky encounters. Ebbsfleet and York we know what they are about. Unfinished business with Fleet and totally robbed by York last time out.
Who knows with Oxford? Beat Cambridge/Lost to Lewes/Beat Rushden in their last 3.
Personally, I don't think we'll lose any of the next 5.
