I don't particularly enjoy seeing Exeter getting on well in League 2 but I have noticed that all 3 Devon teams seem to be experiencing great runs of form.
I would quite like to see Plymouth in the Epl because I could watch a couple of games down there. Its not the end of the world that Exeter are doing ok. If they don't get relegated then we will get to beat them a couple of times next season seeing as we look like a great bet for promotion.
As long as we keep winning though I dont really care what the others are doing. ;D

I know some may want to give me some stick when I say this, but as a Devon man I like to see all our teams do well.That does not mean I ever want to go to any of their games, Or even really follow their results, but apart from Yeovil, there are only really three clubs south Of Bristol.
If I had a wish It would be that Exeter do not go up next season and we do, how great It would to be able to beat them In a league match and feel that we got one back on them, after what happened In the play-Offs.
I think If Plymouth did ever get Into the Premiership, they would really struggle as getting the gates required to be successful would be difficult, here In the southwest.Now we know what Merse thinks Of clubs In the premiership, but I would be happy to go down to Plymouth, just to be able to watch the likes Of Man u and Liverpool. That Is providing It did not clash with any home games for TUFC, I mean there would be no contest between watching the mighty gulls, or Man U.

Have to agree with you Dave. Good to see all three doing well. As hard as I try the games against Weymouth do not really have a derby feel to them. Torquay vs Exeter will always be the only real derby match. No other match can bring about the same passion and highs and lows as that game.

We certainly benefited in the past when Argyle had a good run. As they rose up through the divisions we got their cast offs who weren't good enough at the higher levels but were still able to perform at our level.
Look at our promotion year! we got Graig Taylor and turned our leaky defence into the meanest in the league.

Can't say I ever want to see Plymouth win, but I've a soft spot for Sturrock - an honest man who has done us several favours with loanees (yes, of course his club benefitted as well!). Can't stand their support and hope they never get in the Premiershi£ though!
Exeter - well, they've never finished above us for more than a couple of seasons in a row for a good decade now.
They are definately a team and club on the up - wouldn't be surprised to see them get promoted under Tisdal.
After the rip-offs that our clubs experienced at the hands of roberts and russell & lewis, I think that there was some mutual sympathy towards the other club's plight at their respective relegations.

Not normally bothered either way about PAFC but hearing city have lost always brings a smile to my face, but this weekend, listening to the results I did have a little chuckle to myself that 4 teams (exeter egg chasers also hammered someone or other) would be heading up the M5 from Devon with their tails between their legs.

Has she ever been close enough to touch them? we managed to in Sea world, it was very special. |

Not surprised that Exeter are doing well in L2. The league isn't that much better than the BSP. The only difference is that there are more 'bigger' clubs in L2. And the football is a little less physical?

Concerning "ohwhatevers" comments, I do agree about Sturrock - he is a "decent bloke" and has helped US a lot and I wish him personally well.
I tend not to think anything positive about the other Club in Devon other than to say that Tisdale is also a "decent bloke" but has, of course, not exactly helped US at all!

Spot on Paul R. For me Torquay v Exeter is the game with the most passion for me.
Agree also with Ohtobeat - forced to go to Excretia on Sat (freebies from my son's friend) and they didn't look a bad side. Tried to keep the ball on the floor and will do well under Tisdale. I always hope that they won't of course!

Sure andygulls will know, but I really would be surprised If It had happened before. Still you never know and when you think how long the teams been in the leagues, there Is a chance, but maybe not all scoring three goals. I'm sure there has been times when we have all lost on the same day by the same score. That should keep Andy busy ;D
