I was aware that Carol & Dave had been asked to go to Torbay Hospital today to hear the results of recent tests that Carol had undergone.
I have just spoken to Dave to see how today went and sadly the news is not so good and Carol battle has just got a bit harder to win, but she is a fighter and and will fight on & not give up.
Dave may not be around so much in the forum but will be about when he can.
I am sure that we would all like to send Carol & Dave our best wishes during this very difficult time.

Hi and thanks for the messages of support. Its been a very hard few days since Carol and I learned the news we were dreading. So many people who love Carol to break the news to and try and help them cope with it all. I think seeing the effect it is having on so many people is what upsets Carol the most, but that's just Carol putting everyone else first as usual.
Carol has not chucked in the towel but does now face a very uncertain and dangerous time for her. Many things will be going on to try and help her and she soon will be starting chemo again( the third time) this will be weekly and the chemo she is having this time comes with real dangers of its own.
Tears are all dried now and its back to fighting mode and praying for miracles.
I will try and post as often as I can, but Carol needs to come first, Rob is running the TFF and he is the man to contact if there are any issues on here.
Well those sad miserably bastards who sneered and made unkind remarks about my days out threads will at least be happy that none will be appearing on here any day soon.
