news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_conf/9115130.stmThe madness continues at Ebbsfleet with the members opting to have the final say in the players that the club sign. Given that the numbers have dropped so dramatically (from 28,000 at the peak to just around 3000) that it only took 80 members to get it voted-in. I would fear if I was the supporter of any club who had 3000 people (although realistically it seems that only a few hundred actually vote!) had such a massive impact on such critical decisions. I cannot believe that this has taken place - these are the livelihoods of players and staff that people who have no possible knowledge of the demands of the day to day running of a football club will now have even more of an impact. I feel for Liam Daish - I'm surprised that he hasn't moved-on in the last couple of years. He put out a few decent teams against us in the BSP years and would have though that he might have a few clubs interested in taking a punt on him either as a coach or a manager.
