Everyone knows that living in London can be prohibitively expensive. The cost of accomodation is extortionate, but savings can be made in other ways. I get by without a car for instance, and eating out - if you know where to eat - is often cheaper than outside the capital so long as you don't mix business with pleasure (food and alcohol). I always thought the alcohol was the whole point of eating out! Depends what you're eating and when. Tea is good enough for the Chinese, Japanese, Turks, Arabs and Persians, so I do the same if I'm catching a bite after work or a lunch at weekends in one their cafes. There is a difference however between 'eating out' and being 'out eating'...........and alcohol is a good test of which it is.

About as much difference as there is between something being 'in the public interest' and something being 'of interest to the public', but our British media manage to misunderstand that simple concept all the time.

Seems a lot of votes for Poster of the Week - vote rigging perhaps? Good predictions though. Keep your head down Chelston as I can sense a Steward's Enquiry!

So do I and the poster of the week along with a few other things will be being discussed at the TFF staff meeting tonight and we will soon be making an announcement on a number of changes that will be taking place on the forum but before anyone gets their ideas up, I won't be going anywhere.
